Back Home

Well, after a lovely stay with my friends, where they truly looked after me, I am now home. Whilst I do enjoy being home, I do miss them and find it a little frustrating not being able to do all that I would like to.

I am not doing all the walking that I would like, as it has been a lot colder. I am still getting out and about.

I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, where I will find out what the next steps are.

I also had a call with an area nurse who will be supporting me with my recovery. including exercise plans, etc 

I will post an update on Tuesday after the doctors apppointment

This is the day my heart decided to seek revenge by attacking me. It was the NHS Ambulance Service who were the first of my saviours on this day - they were simply amazing. They delivered me to St Bartholenew's Hospital, where a stent was inserted in the artery on the right side of my heart. This was done whilst I was awake, and they did this by inserting a tube in the artery in my right wrist. That was interesting but weird. I then spent until Tuesday, 21 October 2025, at 18h00 at St Barts.

It's been one week since I had a longer walk today. Currently stopped for a rest and a coffee. Don't feel I need one, but decided it is best not to wait. I do. Just taking it easy as instructed. Is this the first time I am listening to what someone tells me to do something. I suppose the last time was my mother. The similarities - both life and death situations. On my way to the pharmacy now to buy a special body wash I need to use until Monday.
